You're Fired TPP! NAFTA, You Got Next

Arguably the first thing he's done that has both good and bad implications, most likely this means corrupt bilateral agreements instead that don't help the American workers, but one of the reasons TPP (and NAFTA) are/were bad for the economy is worker inequality around the world.  Suggesting that open borders and open trade are good when workers in other countries do not get the same protections as our workers, means we're competing on a wage scale against exploited and mistreated workers.  These treaties were supposed put checks and controls to help monitor and change those working conditions to put American workers on equal playing fields but it's never enough and difficult to regulate or enforce.

Unfortunately, that's not the direction we are going.  There will be no protection of foreign workers' rights especially if we put trade barriers in place.  It will most likely just get worse for them without helping us either.
